Dear :

We are a 5-8 minute drive from the base and the area, (i.e., Oak Harbor) is a small town but has around 30 thousand people.

We did not attend we were up in Canada visiting but I did watch it that night. The town is amazing with the way they support the Navy community there are always welcome home signs when one of the groups return home the town just blossoms with welcome signs.

My DH leaves on the 22nd of the month and will be aboard the USS Enterprise for 6 months and they will welcome him home the same way.
