and DS diet out there for pre-ops.... I think it's so important to realize

what kind of lifestyle one will have and decide from there. People's

experiences are invaluable.

You are so right. A friend of mine had RNY surgery (4/11/01) the day

before mine and she is on a CLEAR liquid diet until May 1. Uhg, that

means broths, popcicles, and juice is about all she can have. I

can't even imagine clear liquids for three weeks!!! I was eating

full liquids (cream soups, very mashed potatos) 5 days out.
