Hi Tamara,

Just sent you an IM but not sure you got it. Anyway, I'm only

supposed to lost 10lbs and I have been really lagging. If I do

everything right this week we're only talking a couple of lbs. I

don't want to get in trouble for not being half way done (not that

anyone has told me I need to be at a certain # by class date).... I

have all the lame reasons to blame...mainly my birthday and everyone

wanting to take me out (agh!!!).

Oh god, so what if I haven't lost more than 3 lbs since orientation?

I wonder if I'll get in " trouble " or they will think I'm not taking

it seriously?! The truth is I'm consumed by this whole thing but I

haven't been able to stick to 1200 caleries eventhough I've cut down

a lot from my eating and been exercising but the weight isn't as

reflective as my activites. I'm just holding to the hope that I'll

be down 10lbs by Aug. 9th when I meet with the surgeon.

--Azeeeeeeeeeeeeen: Ok, so tell me that before you started

exercising, you took your measurments. They count inches lost as

well as weight lost, because they take into account the fact that

muscle weighs more than fat. I think that you need to take a few

deep breaths, and just try your hardest to keep to the 1200 calorie

thing, but if you do go over, let it be iwth fruit or vegetables.

Don't continue to eat the other stuff that you know is soooo not

good. YOu can do this. Even if it means drinking a glass of water

when you think you might need to snack, or eating 3 sugar free

popsicles in a row. YOu can do this. Write it down, what is going

on when you feel like you are going to eat. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!

HOw long have you been in the program? DO you have a surgery date

yet? I will help you as much as I can to get there. It is not easy,

but WE CAN DO THIS!! Tamara
