Guest guest
Hi Val! Yes I think every milk has a whey its the additional watery filled protein part of any milk/yogurt product and for some reason is more concentrated with the lactose ....lol I know there is not left that is why we ferment the yogurt so long but it has something in it that I can not tolerate as do many many of the other scd's ...soooo we drip the yogurt and it becomes thicker without the whey and then I can eat it and not have to run to the bathroom!!! It becomes more like Greek yogurt and the thinner the consistency is the more whey comes out for some reason. You could make a half amount and try it ..also full fat heavy cream has the least amount of lactose in it have you tried that to make the yogurt with? I also drip that as well. Thanks Suzanne Re: Anyone not tolorate the SCD Yogurt?> > To: BTVC-SCD > > > > > Hi .> > > > > > If you like dairy products/drinks and you suspect that the > > > yoghurt is> > > the culprit, then why not just create kefir instead ?> > > It is simple and we have seen yoghurt-issues resolved almost > > > immediatelyat our house.> > > > > > J> > > > > > > > >> >> > >
