Guest guest
Good job there. I've done this too.. eat yogurt in my car after watching everyone eat a meal. Staying well is worth it PJ > > I'm training for a week here in Austin, and the whole office went to an all you can eat pizza place. I had a crisis of conflict, I didn't know what to do. Was I going to cheat one meal? SHould I go, see if I can get salad? I really thought for about ten minutes I was going to go eat flour and break my diet. > > Called wife, she talked me down, and I had them drop me off at the hotel where I ate peanut butter brownies and boiled eggs. It wasn't so much that I wanted pizza, I just honestly didn't know what to do. Worked out. > > Good luck everyone!!! > > jonathan >
Guest guest
, Good for you! It isn't easy at first, that's for sure. I can promise you, it does get easier with time. A little more each time, actually. After awhile, it's almost as though you don't even pay attention any more to what " they " eat. It's just there, like dogfood or something. I've only been on SCD a couple of months but I'm coming from 27 years of severely limited diet (unless I wanted to be really really sick) and it's only occasionally now that I pay much attention to " regular " food. When I do it's mostly because something smells good, and I just think, " Oh, smells good. " No real urges any more to eat it because I know all too well what would happen if I did. Keep up the good work!
