I'm curious but what exactly tells you it's bad--the feeling or does the doctor tell you?  Did you mention weakness in your colon if it's bad?

Thanks,

Debbie 40 cd

Went to the AK/chiro/acu today again! I'll skip the chiro/acu part because, well nothing new there =) Here are my results from food testing though:

Foods that my body liked!

-coconut oil

-coconut flour

-raw garlic

-frozen blueberries

-frozen raspberry jam (homemade, seedless)

-digestive enzymes

-oil of oregano (not as good for yeast as coconut stuff, but still good)

Foods that were neutral

-raw blueberries (this was neutral because of yeast on the berry skins)

-pecan butter

Foods that weren't good

-raw cauliflower

-peanut butter

-Now brand HCL (weird...)

I also experimented with my theory of bananas being cancelled out by VCO. I held a banana and some coconut oil in my hand at the same time when he tested the yeast reflex. It actually did cancel out!! He tested the doseage (somehow) and came up with a little less than 2 tbps of VCO to cancel out a banana. Not sure how accurate this is, but I thought it was intereseting!

I'm telling you guys all this in case it can help someone with their food choices, or what food to try next, because I never knew what foods to try. Let me know though if this is too off topic or not pertaining to the group enough and I'll stop =)

I'm curious but what exactly tells you it's bad--the feeling or does the doctor tell you? Did you mention weakness in your colon if it's bad? There are different ways he muscle tests. For each food/supplement, he'll test it with the colon, yeast, and whole body, and sometimes other organs that he sees fit. For the general muscle test, I just have to hold one arm parallel to the ground while he pushes it lightly down. If his pushing makes my arm go down, then that's considered a 'weak' or 'no' response. If my arm stays where it is, then that's considered a 'yes' or 'strong' response. To change what muscle test it is, he just puts his other hand over a certain organ in my body, and I guess he does it in a certain way so that my body knows what organ he's 'talking to.' That changes what the response in my arm will be when he pushes down. For instance, since I have UC, my arm goes way down when he triggers the colon response. That would be a weak response, which he also calls a 'blowout.' I also blow out when he triggers the yeast spot, since I have candida. To test the food or supplement, he does these same tests while I'm holing the food. Since you know what your muscle response is to each of these spots without the food, you can compare it to how it is with the food. For instance, when I held the coconut oil or coconut flour, both the yeast AND the colon spots gave strong responses. Since they were weak without the coconut, I know it's good for me. On the other hand, when he tested the yeast spot while I was holding a banana, it was a huge blowout, and my arm gave an even weaker response than without the banana. This shows that the banana was not good for my yeast condition. Sorry to have to write so much, but it's actually kind of hard to explain or understand it unless you explain all the way =) Hope that helps! • 3 weeks later...

So are the good, neutral, and bad foods permanent? Or does it change based on

how well/bad you feel?

If it's a set in stone thing, does that mean the good foods work even if you're

in a flair? Or only if your body is in " normal " condition?

As you can tell, I find it all very confusing ;-).
