I will bop in here because they have about the only GF bread I

consider edible. I tried their samples at the DAN conference. The

bagels all good and taste like...bagels. The donuts are very good and

taste just like...cake donuts. The other bread I particularly likes

was the hot dog buns. That is my choice for sandwich bread because

the texture is good, the taste and it holds up well for a sandwich in

a lunch box.

Hi Kathy

We loved Kinnikinnick, and could not have done 10 months GFCF without

them. The best bread Nick liked was the brown rice bread. Higher

fibre breads tended to crumble too much. Made good toast. Also

loved pancake/waffle mix and crispy chicken coating for chicken

nuggets. I liked the bagels, but Nick did not. I thought they were

really good, but he never liked bagels before either. We used the

little mini frozen pizza shells often (until he became reactive to

tomato sauce - phenols)- just add tomato sauce and toppings. All

cookies were good, Nick really liked the graham style cookies -

tasted lots like graham cookies. Frozen waffles were really good

too. Donuts are awesome - we still buy them for GFCF snack for him.

We like the cinnamon sugar ones - taste just like cake donuts. Our

Safeway stores carry some Kinnikinnick items. A little expensive,

and the servings are not that big, but with only Nick eating the

stuff for the most part, it was not too bad. Good luck!

Hi ,

In your message about Kinnickinnick food you recommended their bread. I've

been having trouble finding bread my son will eat, and I'd like to try

theirs. Can you tell me which variety/type you recommend?

Thank you!

Dina

Dina,

I like the bagels, cake donuts and the hot dog buns. I used the hot

dog buns sliced open for sandwich bread. I didn't really care for

their actual sandwich bread although it is better than most. One of

our local health food stores sells their stuff, but you can buy it

online too. The cookies are good.
