Yana--I only know Rumex acetosa, common sorrel. It is used in salads similar to French sorrel, Rumex scutatus. They are greens that I have had in the past and I only know that like spinach, they are high in oxalic acid which can precipitate a gout attack or cause kidney stones. Since it is like spinach, I don't see why you couldn't eat it.
