Guest guest
Hi Tom,I also had my surgery with Dr. Anthone. I had my tube in for 2 months because i got a intetinal blockage, Trust me when I know what you are feeling. My got so sore every time I moved and the sutures pulled to where the tube washanging which did not help matters. I had to keep the tube in just in case the blockage came back and the pain. I have to say I would have rather been safe then sorry and handled the tubes staying in instead of the pain. Also if I wouldnt hjave had the tube iun I would have had to go back to surgery. The tube drained the bile out of my intestine so i was actually very lucky i had the tube still in. I will tell you though I was so happy to get that sucker out!!!!! It really makes all the differance in the world on how I was feeling. I got up and moved much easier and alot more. If you know there is pain you try not to move so it doesnt hurt so when it doesnt hurt anymore I really got up and did so much. Hope this helps a little. Hang in there I promise it get better. I had my surgery Jan5 and I have lost about 65 pounds things get better every day Good luck with your WL. Kim
