This is just my personal opinion, but I'd let the Dr's office handle

it at this point. Wait & see what they say before you get too

involved. At least that's the way it worked for me. I had BCBS of

CA. I sent my info. to the Dr's ofc & they did everything.

Kari,

I called my company BC/BS of South Dakota (a PPO) and

asked them, but I was fairly sure they covered it

already.

If you are worried it will " jinx " you maybe try and

find someone at Obesityhelp.com who has the same plan

and she how it worked for them?

Kari,

I called and got the number to fax and I wrote my letter of appeal first and

faxed it. Now the rest of the paperwork is coming in from the dr. I don't

think speaking up will blow it. I just wanted to get my side in and then have

it backed with figures and information. I have NW Washington of Whatcom Cty.

We are now under Regence BC/BS.
