Guest guest
Hi Jodi, That really sucks about the scarring :-(. I'll be sure to ask my surgeon about incisional hernia and laproscopy. I think I need to write out a list of things to ask, so I don't forget! I have a fat flabby tummy. If I need surgery, maybe I better try harder to get it in better shape! But yes, this happens over the years. For some it takes quite a while for scar tissue to form. Not all people with scar tissue get bothered- that's another thing.. they are completely ok. > > You should ask the consult about this. Also if you think you have weak abdominal muscles (I'm like flabby as I haven't really worked out in years- a major goal of mine.. I try a bit here and there post surgery- YAY but it makes the incisional hernia worse) Ask about what they do to avoid incisional hernia. I wish I knew about this and made a stink. Despite flabbyness I always had a flat belly. Now I have a bulge that is my personal cup holder. I hate it! > > I hope you don't need surgery but if you do ask if you are a candidate to have it done laparscopically. > > I eat a lot of mush too. I try to chew but I am not really mindful. That's why I run a bunch of stuff through the Omega and strain. Perhaps it is a force of habit. > > Keep us posted. > > Jodi >
