Guest guest
have had some experience with paxil and wellbutrin and xanax..first, the paxil: you can not just stop taking it cold turkey..this is a drug that builds up a blood level over a period of time and dosage must be gradually reduced over a period of time to avoid withdrawal symptoms, some of which you are probably feeling right now...wellbutrin: while some folks are able to take wellbutrin simultaneously with paxil, zoloft or other new generation prosac type antidepressants, some, myself included, suffered what seemed like an allergic reaction..you still have the paxil in your bloodstream, so this may also explain why you feel yucky..xanax: an addictive anti-anxiety drug which is very effective, but has the potential to make you feel really "zonked" at first.. Thanks for the info. I better call my PCP and check. I didn't take any more paxil but I had heard also that you were to taper off. The xanax is probably what made me sleep. I 've not taken any today...and I am better than yesterday but still feel edgy. Hell I was cryin on the way to work (I do that when I get mad) cause someone wasnt going fast enough down the road. Gee...I don't understand why they felt the need to slow down so the car ahead could turn...LOL ~~* AJ *~~ BMI 58 NW Washington Medical DR Heap, Richmond WA Working on 1st appeal

Guest guest
I am on Paxil 20 mg a day. It works very well for me. A couple of months ago the dr. tried me on Wellbutrin instead of paxil and it was horrible. I felt horrible, headaches, dizzy etc. I called and told them I want back on Paxil. Stefany Change of meds making me feel wierd I just did the dr thing and now am feeling worst than before I went in. I got taken off 20mg of Paxil once a day Added 150mg Wellbutrin once a day, .5mg xanax as needed to take the edge off of the Wellbutrin, 2.5mg of Altace (ramipril) for high blood pressure and cephalexin 500mg 3 times a day to finish clearing up that cellulitious I had last October that I still have. I go back the 24th to discuss my blood tests and such to see what else we need to do but I slept all day for the most part yesterday and today I came home early. I've not taken an of the Xanax thinking that made me sleep...does anyone know anything about these drugs? I put a call in to the dr but he's not in so I dont know who will call me back or if they will today. I really feel yucky. ~~* AJ *~~ BMI 58 NW Washington Medical DR Heap, Richmond WA Working on 1st appeal ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
I know a lot about several of these drugs. Will be willing to post you off list. Xanax is a very short acting benzo. One of the most problematic because of that. One other quick comment is that Wellbutrin can be very activating. I have my patients take it first thing in the morning and at 4PM to avoid interfering with sleep. in Seattle marym@... Guest guest
Hi- I only know about the xanax. It is a muscle relaxer and an anti-anxiety pill. I had to take it for pain with my pain meds many rears ago and yes it does make you sleep and it build up in your bloodstream and does hang you over. Definitely talk to your Dr. There are other pills I am sure out there. Ellen(Pam

Guest guest
I have prescribed both Wellbutrin and another antidepressant such as Paxil, Zoloft, Serzone, etc. for a number of my patients. in Seattle ----- Original Message ----- : while some folks are able > to take wellbutrin simultaneously with paxil, zoloft or other new generation > prosac type antidepressants, some, myself included, suffered what seemed > like an allergic reaction..
