Guest guest
I have a question.....why is it so different thruout the BS/BC insurance? It seems as if Oregon and Washington can't get it paid for and ones in other states can. Isn't the insurance the same? I know all employers offer different packages....but lets say a group of 50 should have the basic same plans to choose from shouldnt they??? ~~* AJ *~~ BMI 58 NW Washington Medical (now Regence :-( ) DR Heap, Richmond WA Working on 1st appeal
Guest guest
The desparity between plans is so frustrating. I do know that your employer decides if WLS will be part of your coverage. There are BCBS plans in Oregon/WA ie Boeing Traditional that do cover WLS and a lot of plans that don't. I'm sorry you're going through the appeal process. I know how stressful it is. Its so stupid. I noticed Boeing people have no trouble. I do the health benefits where I work and we just renewed. I went thru every plan available to my employer but we're a small group under 50 and there was nothing. We even hired a benefits specialist that helped and she found the same thing. Oh well....where there is a will there is a way.... ~~* AJ *~~ BMI 58 NW Washington Medical DR Heap, Richmond WA Working on 1st appeal
