Guest guest
Dear T 2 When I began the process, I weighed approx 390 lbs, and was told to get down to 350 by the physician in SSF, (I can't remember her name, but I really, really liked her!!). I now weigh approx 450 lbs, (give or take), so if you add all the figures, I would need to lose around 100 lbs to get down to the 350 lb goal. (Will I have enough tenacity, (sp?) to lose the 100 so as to be approved for surgery!?) Pam
Guest guest
Ok, if you now weigh 450, you would need to lose 45 pounds. They will not make you get to 340. That would have been the 10% of 390. Keep your hopes up, you can do this, you are worth this. Pam, take a deep breath... 1. Start journalling everything you eat. 2. Make sure you are drinking 64 oz of water daily 3. Begin giving up one new thing each week. Start with soda 4. Try to increase your walking or do some type of chair exercise... even chair dancing...start with 5 minutes. 5. Make a list of reasons you want to lose this weight. Post it where you can see it...read it everyday. We will help you through this.
