Guest guest
I have a question for those of you post op and close to your goal. My understanding is that because of the malobsorbtion you lose the excess weight. When you get close to goal how does it slow down so that you don't lose too much weight? Or does it just naturally stop at a certain point? Thanks! Mickyco-owner KoalityKare "Quality childcare isn't expensive. Guest guest
Micky- it was explained to me that the reason your weight loss slows is because over time your stomach stretches & you can eat a bit more. Also, after about 2 years, your body " adjusts " to the bypass, which supposedly makes your common channel more efficient at saving nutrients from what is eaten.. but I'm still preop, so haven't seen if this is so.
