Thanks to all for the info about the scales. I will check out the avon one too. Now I just have to get to 350 so I can use it

I purchased a Tanita scale (http://www.tanita.com/IndexUS.shtml) - it's used by my surgeon, Dr. Leo , and all the doctors at Pacific Bariatrics in San Diego. I think it's a terrific scale (when it says what I want it to say!)
