Cecilia, boy have I been where you are at. All I can

say is try to keep your eyes on the prize. And no

matter what you've eaten, I ALWAYS lose more weight

-hen I drink more water. More more more! Like

70-90oz. It really does help.

Cecilia,

There are no drainage tubes used on me. Just six 1 1/2 inch pieces of

gauze that are taped down. The top incision is the one that itches the

most.

Good luck on your meeting tonight! This is within your power! Go Girl!

I had 2 drainage tubes. One stayed in 2 days and came out while I was

still in the hospital because it was leaking, the other stayed in 6

days, at my first post-hospital doctor appointment, after I had stayed

2 days in the hotel. But, I had open surgery in San Diego. (They had

me stay in the hotel next door to the hospital 2 days after I was

discharged from the hospital until my first doctor appointment.)

I think San Diego (Pacific Bariatrics) decides on drainage tubes on an

individual basis depending upon patient need.
