Guest guest
Mcosey, I'm sure by now someone has responded to the direct questions you have, I will just share with you that Sue Widemark is not an authority on WLS even tho her website would have you believe that. She's self educated and loves to portray herself as an expert. But be not decieved. (hee...kinda dramatic huh?) One of her great theories is that the statistics that say only 5% of diets are successful is just propaganda foisted on us by the diet industry and is totally false, they just want to keep us off of " sensible " diets. But if you will go on a low fat diet and are finally ready to really apply yourself and get off your butt and work, you can do it!! (sound like your doctor/mother/father/everyone who ever told you your weight was your fault?) And the doctors just do this to make money, they don't really care about obese people. She also has another e-group whose topic for discussion is how the media falsely portrays childbirth to be painful so that more people will have abortions. All those shows with a woman screaming while delivering a baby from her body? Made up.... yup. I'd still take the paper to your consultation, it will only serve to educate you, but when reading anything at that site... consider the source.
