Guest guest
Hi guys, I got back a while ago from my " marathon appt. " I made my under 5 lbs. to get a surgery date and have lost officially 26 lbs. I have 4 to go altogether. I loved Dennen, he was a neat guy. Unfortunately they are so booked out with the Psych eval that it is not scheduled until August 11th. Ughhhh!!! when is yours? Anyways, since the August schedule isnt out yet, NO DATE!! told me to start calling around July 18th to find out if the August calendar is out so I can get scheduled, she told me NOT to wait for my appt. to be complete. He has scheduled me for an ultrasound of my galbladder, and other than that all tests are done. I feel a since of relief and dissapointment at the same time. I am so happy about the weight loss, and so sad to leave without a date. BUT I am getting there. was very nice. BTW she said that for anyone who has called since June 1st has not received a return call. She thinks by this week she will be caught up and that is due! back for July. Kellie??? you never emailed me the paper you wanted me to take. What happened?? Did you leave already? Sorry this is so long, but I am so happy. Woohooo 26 lbs down. Kristie Approved 1/21/05 310 lbs. Guest guest
Thanks LaWanda, I had asked if I could go somewhere else but said they use this one facility because it is tied in with the Bariatrics program, this is not like the first appt we had before approval. She is putting me on a cancellation list. I am going to be calling and bugging, not to much but nicely, so she gets to know my name and not just by #. Thanks for the support, I wanted to have a laptop at that moment I got off the scale to share it with you guys. It was a wonderful feeling. Kristie > > > Date: 2005/06/17 Fri PM 07:51:43 PDT > To: gastric-bypass-support-kaiser-patients > Subject: Re: My fantabulous > day~~ > > Kristi, a suggestion. Why don't you ask them if you can do your psyche eval here, since they are so backed up. They did mine for me at south Sac, and they used to also do the patients there whom they sent to Pacific bariatrics, in San Diego, when they did that. Don't know if it'll work, but it might be something to try. Congrats on being near enough to goal, glad everything went so well. Guest guest
and you should be beaming from ear to ear and bouncing off the walls ! ahhhhh I remember it so well ! you are on your way ! Colleenhollotwomn@... wrote: Colleen, Thanks I am so excited I told Dr. Dennen today I didnt even know how I was able to have the appointment with me sitting down. I wanted to jump up and shout. He was calculating my weight and I said very abruptly, I'm at weight for a surgery date, he smiled and asked my friend, does she always start at the end and she said yes and he laughed. I found him to be a neat guy, he talked to me about his dad, his kids, it was a fun appointment. He congratulated me on my weight loss of 18 lbs, since April 16th. I was beaming from ear to ear.
