Hi Jodi,I don't know if this will be helpful to you, but I thought I'd just let you know about a product my doc mentioned that I am trying to get more info about.I just had amalgam fillings removed and the doc wants to check my heavy metal levels again. To do so, I need to take a chelating agent. I used to take chlorella before SCD. Now she wants me to try Destroxin. I would only be taking it for 4 days before the test at this point----but I have not had a chance to research it to see if it might be legal. My doc is the one who put me on SCD in the first place, but she doesn't seem to understand the "fanatical adherence" part so well. I'm including a link to the ingredients page in case you might be interested in checking into it's legality. The ingredients listed on the label are: zeolite, vit B12, calcium (as calcium carbonate). Then there is gelatin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.I'm not quite sure how to research this to find out if there are illegals in it myself. I just saw her yesterday and have been sitting here contemplating the bottle (that method has not proved fruitful, so I can't recommend it)I realize I am responding a bit late to this but I get really really behind now on emails. I've tried to check all of yours recently and don't see a heavy metals topic line, but if you've resolved this issue by now, please ignore. http://www.destroxin.com/I can't make the link work, but the address is correct, so you should be able to type it in yourself. Sorry about that.Take careJeanineceliacSCD 2 years 10 months
