Guest guest
Generally speaking, 1 year is the shelf life for canned goods. I suppose if it isn't too far past date and it was well stored (cool, dry place, out of sunlight) it would be o.k. I'm not certain I would risk it if I thought it might start a flare, though. Guest guest
Unopened, it's like peanut butter or any vacuum packed nut butter--I would think if not in the sun or excessive heat--it's OK. If it's rancid, you'll taste it. Opened and in the fridge, I also think you have a long shelf life as long as there is no mold present. I would personally still use it.
