Legal beans, yes. Soak them and cook them, per BTVC, then dehydrate and

grind.

In point of fact, if you look under the holiday recipes over on Pecan

Bread, you'll find my recipe for bean paste. I use bean paste for making

tortillas, for mock mashed potatoes, AND I have made crackers with it.

You just have to be aware of the amount of liquid in the cooked, drained,

ground up beans, and compensate in your recipe for it.

I would not use seed flours because of high levels of lignins in the seed

coats.
