Hi, I am 8 weeks post-op and have lost 56 lbs. from 272 to 216. My

common channel is 80 cm. I agree that 50cm would be too short. You

don't want to have long term problems with malabsorbtion. I think

between 75 and 100 is more practical and you will have good weight

loss with that amount.
