Here in Australia we have a brand of a2 cows milk. It is just the best milk to make yoghurt with. I love knowing that the yogurt is lactose free and has the right casein. 2 litres of a2 milk is $4.70 and I would use that every 3 days so it is expensive yoghurt. My sisters cannot be bothered making yoghurt for there kids so I have insisted that they buy a2 milk, which they have done. Hopefully it protects there stomachs a bit. Because with all the auto-immune diseases in our family they are going to need it. You know the protein in breastmilk is also a2.

The cows in parts of the world like Asia, Africa, and parts of southern Europe are still A2 cows. Most of the cows in this country are A1, though some herds contain a bit of A2 in them. It may be possible to get A2 milk in this country but probably only if you really know the farmer enough to trust his information, or you have the A2 cow in your back yard. Fat chance. But, guess what? Goat's milk contains only A2 proteins! As does some sheep's milk. So, at least for me I think I may have a good clue as to why I can't get along with milk products. When I get ready, I will try goat's milk for yoghurt.

Sky,

How wonderful that you can get the good milk! Somehow it stands to

reason that the healthier one would be better tasting, too.
