I re-started the intro diet because I wasn't healing and having trouble pin-pointing what I was intolerant to. Even the intro diet made it difficult to pin-point and I am now wondering if I am intolerant to yogurt and/or honey... I made homemade yogurt (fermented for 24hrs) and am using clover honey (although I suppose I should find something local). Does anyone know if intolerance to yogurt and/or honey typical for people with UC?? Also, I would like to see a prominent Nutritionist in my area (I found her b/c she wrote the forward to an SCD recipe book that I bought). Her appointments are quite expensive, but she has implemented SCD for her patients in the past. I was wondering if anyone has seen a Nutritionist to help them customize SCD? My GI does not support SCD at all (will not give me a referal) and is trying to push Reicade (or surgery) real hard. I would greatly appreciate any advice/guidance.
