Guest guest
Hi Anita thanks for your concern. I have gone to my pcp and had blood drawn and will have to fly up to see Dr. Rabkin on May 9. I guess he is out of town until then. I just made the appointment. Just to let you know I did not have any bowel problems prior to this surgery. I have consistently had diarhea for five months. I have done everything from eating no fat, no dairy to eating some fat and I am curently on a daily dose of dairy care. I also took head of others advice with Fiber Con. No real good results as of yet (it's been about 3 days:( THis is a very hard reality for me and extremely embarassing problem to face. I wish this on NO ONE! I am praying for relief and hope to find some with the next visit to my doctor or hopefully this Fiber Con will allow me a couple of days relief. I am really losing my patience. Thanks again, Brigid

Guest guest
Brigid: Have you tried adding a good, strong dairy free acidophilus to your supplement regimen? THe antibiotics you took for surgery may have killed off all the " good " bacteria and you haven't been able to build it back up. Look for dairy free acidophilus in the refrigerated case at your local health food store. I know Whole Foods carries them. Ethical Nutrients is the retail arm of Metagenics and their stuff is always top-notch. You've also tried eliminating all forms of dairy from your diet, right? Good luck and be well, Sharon, 10 years and 2 days post-op > > Hi Anita thanks for your concern. I have gone to my pcp and had > blood drawn and will have to fly up to see Dr. Rabkin on May 9.
