Guest guest
Yes, Terri, you are an Angelfish. I didn't realize they could be aggressive. I just read the info on all the fish in my tank & it says that the Neon Tetras can be swallowed whole by the Angelfish! I've never had that happen yet. & Kim are also Angelfish (Kim is a baby). I just picked names at random, but I need more male names. I have a lot of male fish. They are given names in the program & you can change to any names you want. FYI on the other fish breeds: Ron & Tracie are Black Mollies; Quint is a Leopard Catfish; Matt & Rose are False Rummy-Nosed Tetras; Debbie is a Red Phantom Tetra (and not too healthy, Deb. No specific diseases & you are well-fed; your profile just shows you as not healthy. I'll keep you posted.); Darlene, & Dr. B are Neon Tetras. There is a hospital tank that you are supposed to remove sick fish to, in order to treat them. Like, it might say that Tracie has a fungus. I look up the treatment of fungus in the treatment section & it will say to put so much of a certain chemical in the water at certain intervals. Well, the first time I used this program, I didn't bother separating the sick fish; I just dumped the medication into the tank. Then I started having fish die from "chemical overdose" or other problems. So the next time I started a new aquarium, I did move the sick fish to the hospital tank, followed the treatment guidelines carefully (I would even tape a little chart on the computer with the treatment times & cross them off, like human patients!), and in a day or two a message would come on the screen, "A fish has recovered!" Then I could move it back into the main tank. The fish lasted a lot longer that time. But I've never bothered to change the water, so eventually that does them in. Also, the first time, I didn't remove the deceased fish, which kind of messes up the water. This program is really fun & great for kids. At one time, Sam, & I had our own aquariums, plus the girls made one for my mom. We had to switch them out every day. Even when you aren't using a tank as a screen saver, it still runs. You just have to remember to check on the fish, make sure they are being fed, etc. When I bought this program, probably 5 years ago, I think it was about $40. It's been worth every penny. I think the next time , my almost-five year old grandson, is here, I'll let him build his own aquarium. Well, I guess I'll shut up now. Oh, I got a better photo of the fish when they were feeding. Everybody shows up except Tracie; she was down in the shrubbery. I'll attach it here & also add it to the others in the Photos section of the website. It looks like I am the Angel fish. Is this correct? Did you know in an aquarium that Angel fish can be extremely agressive? I hope that this is not the reason you made me the Angel fish.......
