Tzatziki, while being delicious, is problematic from the POV of eating yogurt that delivers probiotics - because it is made with garlic - and the garlic impacts the beneficiality of the probiotics. As a result, I've cut back on it myself. > > I also mix it in with cooked pureed wild salmon- makes like a spread. That sounds good. Just finished my left over wild salmon last night, but I'll try with the next bunch. Like with some onion or chives and herbs. Mara

I'm like a garlic fiend myself, put it in everything. So you can do raw onion (or do you cook the onion before putting it in the salmon spread?) but not garlic? Interesting. Guest guest
My favorite yogurt recipe is one I learned from a Jordanian friend, don't know it's name but yogurt mixed with very, very, very finely chopped cucumber, salt and garlic if you don't need the probiotic effect. It's good without the garlic too. It's great over chicken especially. The cucumber should be so fine you can't tell it's cucumber, no seeds of course.
