Thanks, Carol. I have used the good B-complex from Freeda for years

and years,a nd I will check to see if they have other things I can use.

My list is more extensive than I really want to swallow, but has been

necessary for the leaky gut especially as far as osteoporosis and hot

flashes go, plus immune boosters (otherwise I have a virus a good share

of every week) and I have been trying the herbal things for pain though I

don't think they are helping that much. That's a good legal/illegal

list of additives on pecanbread and I'm going to print that out.

Hi , There is a good illegal supplements list at PecanBread.com

You want

to avoid hidden starches and sugars. I use Freeda Vitamins. They are

SCD

compliant. Lucy at LucysKitchenShop.com (you have to call to order)

carries

them, as do a number of other sites.

I mistakenly ingested illegals in my supplements for years. So check

labels

carefully. Or go with an SCD compliant brand.

Just out of curiosity, why are you trying to eat something else in the morning?

I ask because I've read that having just fruit in the AM is *really* good for

you because of the way fruit digests. I know that one of the things I was doing

for a while was having a green smoothie (fruit with some green, usually spinach)

thrown in for my breakfast and that would wake me up and keep me going for a

while and I'd bring grapes to work with me as a snack in case I got hungry

before lunch. Of course, everyone's body reacts differently...just thought I'd

share :)

Hey ..

I am not sure what you mean.. but my pain increased dramatically when I first

dropped grains and then it was the first thing to go away.. I was dealing with

excruciating bowel and anal pain.

Are you talking about gut pain or like body pain?

Many things can be attributed to die off. I like the idea of a more global view

that the gut ecology is shifting. Yes, bacteria is dying but there are also

bacteria repopulating and many are shifting.. Than there is the issue of

biofilms that we need to get rid of. I think some of us that deal with hard

core stubborn yeast are dealing with a biofilm issue. The housing structures

that the yeast live in.. actually live on post die-off. Those

don't wanna die.

You should just print up in general what supplements you take.

Sometime even legal supplements that are supposed to help can be problematic.

Just an idea.

I'm not trying now to eat anything else in the morning. I've tried too

often over 27 years and found only fruit works. I would LIKE to

have something else so I don't get so hungry and collect some energy

earlier in the day. I'm really only thinking about it because of

what the diet wants us to do. I suspect I'll be staying with my

fruit for some time until I have evidence that I can change

things.

Mara, yes, you may well be right about me having more trouble with

illegals in the supplements now. I'm working on the problem of replacing

the ones that need replacing. This isn't as instantaneous as I

would like but I can do a lot more research later in the week.
