Guest guest
There were two places I worked at the big faires...first one was Mayhawke Armory...selling knives and swords. I was the Booth Manager there for about 6 years in the North and worked the south twice. Then I managed a booth (Tower of London) that sold fur-lined leather handcuffs and whips for two years up North. Oh, we also sold wool and knitting supplies. The owners ran it down south. When they finally shut down the Novato site, I lost my interest in Faire...Been back once when it was at the Nut Tree. I miss it sometimes. But then sleeping in dirt and not showering for several days doesn't have the romance it once did! ; ) > Hmmm, I did faire north and south for 20+ years - can you say faire > brat?- Most of my friends dance and I just didn't have the courage in > me to try, but now :-) What a world has opened up! > > Kerre >

Guest guest
I was in Cuthberts for years then went to St s both north and south. I spent the last 6 or 7 years (until 1995)in Germans and Night Security. I really don't miss it at all. My folks are still plodding right along at Southern...Since 1972 Kerre -138 AKA Panda AKA Olga > > Hmmm, I did faire north and south for 20+ years - can you say faire > > brat?- Most of my friends dance and I just didn't have the courage in > > me to try, but now :-) What a world has opened up! > > > > Kerre > >
