Guest guest
, I can totally relate. My husband and I don't have family in California either. He is from Jamaica and I am from North Carolina. We have a great daycare provider that does care during the day and because it is military, sometimes she had kids overnight and on weekends. She never has time for herself and is always telling me to leave the boys so me and my husband can go away. I never do because I feel guilty because her entire life is compounded with keeping other people's kids. Both of her daughters are graduated so in some sense, others' kids are like having her own kids again. What I have done in the past is took a day off and my husband and I would go do something for the day but I plan to discuss the possibility of having my daycare provider to watch them at least once a month...maybe twice a month on a Saturday evening so we can go out on a date. She always tell me to but I feel guilty because she needs time to herself to. I pray she never gets out of the business because she is the best by far. Nonetheless , if I hear of anything, I will let you know..okay.
