Guest guest
I have hypothyroid and I lost 165 pounds with the surgery. I still take my synthroid everyday, in fact it might need to be raised(my opinion, I havent had it checked yet). Hypothyroidism is NOT something that will be cured with weight loss. It does make maintenance a little tougher, the loss a little slower but all in all not enough to be a hindrance. Huggles > Does anyone have a hypothyroid and know if it gets better after > surgery? I just went to see my PCP to discuss possible causes and he said my last blood work 6 weeks ago showed that they were fine. I didnt even know he had requested a thyroid check. LOL I really think its all the protein shakes and grazing I was doing. After talking to Dr Fisher yesterday, I am not doing them at all now, unless its a long time between meals and I did not prepare a low cal protein snack like a yogurt.TIM..Where do you find the Hood yogurt again? I cant seem to find it!!Huggles> > > Does anyone have a hypothyroid and know if it gets better after > > > surgery?
