My diagnosis is Crohn's disease, so this year I had my first three surgeries for

tricky fistulas. It hasn't been fun. I think staying positive and thinking

healing thoughts is important, that's why I'm excited about SCD.

Yeah, I'm slowing down on foods. just chicken and jello and cheesecake today, I

think some soup for dinner. There's a lot of really tasty things you can do on

SCD, I just need to be patient. Pecan bread has helped make sense of things,

and I got a new Cookbook, Healing Foods, COoking for Celiacs, COlitis, Crohn's,

and IBS. It has some pretty amazing recipes in it, I'd recommend it to any one.

I'm looking forward to these fistulas healing, as I've read SCD does pretty

well. It'll just take time. I'll definitely be making my own buffalo wings

from now on, a month or so down the road. I'll give y'all the recipe!!
