Is the sulphur in MSM related to or the same as what is in sulpha

drugs??? My mom is allergic to Macrodantin and is wondering if the

MSM will bother her. I also want to give it to my daughter but she

got hives on a sulpha drug also. Maybe they are different though??

i did read that msm is a different type of sulphur and will not cuase

a reaction if there is an allergy to suplha drugs.

however that is only my reading and have no expereince of this so....

i would try a very small dose mixed in a drink to see if there is any

sensitivity

allergies to sulpha drugs may possibly be realted to mercury toxicty

NO! MSM is a nutritional sulfur and in no way related to sulfa

drugs. However, I too would start slowly.

Re: MSM question

It is made to take orally so you're safe to do both oral and topically. My knees used to kill me walking up the stairs when the mites were bad too I don't know it is lyme or what. They don't bother me anymore.>> I have had pain in my hip and along my leg since January.
