Guest guest
I wanted to ask where people buy their flax seed oil. Just any health food store or WFs? Also, I've heard it is a very unstable oil and doesn't keep long - so what do people do to keep it fresh - just buy a small bottle and keep in the fridge? Also, anyone know a source for buying a large-ish bottle of avocado oil at a discount or a reduced price? Mara

Hmm. So I don't know what ALA is. I was thinking of using it for Omega 3. mentioned mixing some in his mayonnaise recipe - I was thinking of trying that out. IYO, would it be absorbable/useful that way? Mara
Guest guest
Mara, For ALA (alpha linolenic acid) no it would not from my research. For Omega 3's you are much better off with fish oil.. You want a good balance of various Omegas and you want a good ratio between them.
