Then I guess I simply am allergic to dairy. I've been GF for decades.

I've been that way all my life. So I won't hurry to try yoghurt, I

guess.

Well you can try almond or coconut milk yogurt. They

have the recipe at pecanbread.com and elsewhere.

Well, since she just recently started, I'd say hold on

for a while until her body is functioning a lot better than

when she started - maybe in several months.

I gave dairy a try with butter a couple of weeks ago. Heated it and (I

thought) got the milk solids off. Historically if I can eat any

dairy product it's been butter. And it actually tasted good which

was a real change from the rotten taste of recent decades. Didn't

get a headache or anything. But then, had a very restless miserable

night, which is generally the the precursor to an allergic sick day the

next day, which it was. Now, I didn't strain the butter 87 times,

and next time I decide to try it I'll get actual ghee, but it didnt' make

it seem worth getting a yoghurt maker and going through all the hoopla

many of you seem to have to do, just to try a teaspoon of yoghurt.

But not to worry, I will try it someday when the time seems right. It's

high on the list. Next time I have plenty of time to get sick, I'll try

an egg.

have you tried it -who knows what healing has taken place with scd???

worth a small test???

And I will do it when I am sure I'm getting along with almond and/or

coconut! Trials are spotty as to now. OK sometimes, bad

others. And I think I'm just coming up on my 3 month die-off (I had

a pretty good intro one at one month!).
