Guest guest
Then I guess I simply am allergic to dairy. I've been GF for decades. I've been that way all my life. So I won't hurry to try yoghurt, I guess. but the villi grow back once you're GF for 3-6 months - I NEVER had dairy issues - and HOPE this bloating I have more often than not -ends up NOT being a dairy issue as I know my guys are back (via scopes and camera I swallowed etc eileen

Guest guest
Well, since she just recently started, I'd say hold on for a while until her body is functioning a lot better than when she started - maybe in several months. Guest guest
I gave dairy a try with butter a couple of weeks ago. Heated it and (I thought) got the milk solids off. Historically if I can eat any dairy product it's been butter. And it actually tasted good which was a real change from the rotten taste of recent decades. Didn't get a headache or anything. But then, had a very restless miserable night, which is generally the the precursor to an allergic sick day the next day, which it was. Now, I didn't strain the butter 87 times, and next time I decide to try it I'll get actual ghee, but it didnt' make it seem worth getting a yoghurt maker and going through all the hoopla many of you seem to have to do, just to try a teaspoon of yoghurt. But not to worry, I will try it someday when the time seems right. It's high on the list. Next time I have plenty of time to get sick, I'll try an egg. have you tried it -who knows what healing has taken place with scd??? worth a small test??? eileen > > Then I guess I simply am allergic to dairy. Guest guest
And I will do it when I am sure I'm getting along with almond and/or coconut! Trials are spotty as to now. OK sometimes, bad others. And I think I'm just coming up on my 3 month die-off (I had a pretty good intro one at one month!). Well you can try almond or coconut milk yogurt. They have the recipe at pecanbread.com and elsewhere. Mara
