Guest guest
Here is everything you ever wanted to know about Vit. E: http://ods.od.nih.gov/FACTSHEETS/VITAMINE.ASP <snip> Naturally occurring vitamin E exists in eight chemical forms (alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocopherol and alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocotrienol) that have varying levels of biological activity [1]. Alpha- (or á-) tocopherol is the only form that is recognized to meet human requirements. Are vitamin E capsules legal to take? Vitamin E is legal. As for the capsules, it depends on what else they've put in them. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
Marilyn, Thanks for the answer to my question. This is a good vitamin to take for my lyme disease, so I'm glad to know it's legal. > >I've been trying to find information regarding > >vitamin E on the SCD. Darn! Elaine stated that soy oil in Vitamin E was okay. Note: soy oil used to be SCD legal; this was changed because apparently, some people on Pecan Bread had a problem with some soy oils. I don't use soy oil myself because I am stop-breathing sensitive to soy. There are two forms I can tolerate: lecithin from soy, and Vitamin E with soy oil. These are both okay. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
