Guest guest
It could be anything ...water retention, the salt from the soup(s), the fact that you probably have not had a bowel movement, etc. Try not to stress because the weight will come off. So you should not even worry about that. Stay off your scale for a few days because daily weighing can be frustrating and somewhat hard to do. Keep your chin up. Guest guest
, that's normal..your body is adjusting, your insides are all beaten up, and water rushes to protect the wounded part of you....swells up tissue, etc...to create a buffer. So, the fact that you've gained a little (don't forget that most people gain between 5 and 20 lbs. immediately following the surgery due to all the water they put into you), is no big thing. It will comme off post haste. In fact, it sounds like it is already in process of coming off..because you probably were a bit higher weight when you first got home. (Maybe you didn't weigh yourself.) It will all be fine. It's biologically impossible not to lose weight when you are eating next to nothing, your intestines aren't even absorbing a lot of the calories that you ARE consuming...etc. Today marks the second month for me...in that I had my surgery on June 8th, and it is now August 8th. I have lost exactly 40 lbs. At one month, I had lost exactly 22.5 lbs. But, most of that was shed in the second week alone (11.5 lbs.) So, be on the lookout!! You're fine!Robynn wrote: thanks pam marsh-- i think your exactly right!sarah> > > and im up a pound, is this normal?> > sarah castro> > > > > > > > > > > __________________________________________________>
