Guest guest
Misty This sounds sadly familiar to me. There are times when medications don't get out of my stomach and come back up 12 to 24 hours later.... Isn't often these days, now that I'm on SCD, and have learned how to keep from stressing my upper GI. Although I have chronic nausea, I rarely vomit, so the times I do are memorable. I would empty out the acidophilus capsules and sprinkle the contents over food (not too hot) and avoid the cellulose capsule. That should help get the probiotics through and into the intestinal tract. I do this when my stomach is being particularly cranky. If vomiting continues, I'd check in with your doctor. Might be an obstruction or something else developing. Kim M. The S. Boulardii capsule seems to have been digested. The weirder thing is it was the second time I threw up that the capsule came out. Just wondering... It seems like after 6 hours, the pill should have been at least partially digested. Thanks,Misty KimbleCD - no medsSCD - 19 months
