I did not do organic meats until around 2006, although I was doing pastured meats by 2003. What is " Breakthrough " ? Remember, s. boulardii is a FRIENDLY yeast, but it can be killed by anti-yeast treatments. And also remember that the acidophilus is susceptible to antibiotics. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
I can't afford to buy organic produce, pastured meats, or A2 milk. I also can't afford to compound my meds, which have things like lactose, starch, and sugar in them. I doubt I'm alone in this. Regardless, I seem to be progressing okay. I imagine this is the case for most people, since Elaine didn't make them requirements for SCD. It would price a lot of people right out of the diet! However, I sure wish I had money for those things. I recently had a hamburger made from local pastured meat, and it was truly the best tasting burger I've ever eaten!
