Guest guest
Hi everybody, I just thought that I would forward this in case you haven't seen it. As always, our sincerest prayers and sympathies are extended to this dear woman's family. Pam Hi everyone, I'm sorry to say that my first posting to the group is sad. I just found out that Dee from Waldorf, MD has passed away. Her surgery was March 30th (Friday) and she died this past Monday from a blood clot on her lung. She had her surgery with a Dr. Lin in DC. A mutual friend just called and told me. Her name sounded so familiar because I read all of our posts and I remember her posting. She has a two-year-old son and her mother came from Minnesota to take care of him for a month while she recovered. As soon as I get information about where to send cards, I will post again. Pzaz ( I was at the March gathering with my husband) __________________________________________________

Guest guest
-dee---i am so new in here--i havent been able to keep everyone straight in my mind yet-not sure if i ever will, but glad to know you are still " losing " & hope to talk to you on chat sunday--sorry if this alarmed or confused anyone--didnt know how else to ask...i do feel really bad for this lady's family--a 2 yr old, what are the chances of this happening? i know the % of complications is low, so it would not be a healthy option to let this stop one from having surgery. I also havent heard of her doctor before, but i didnt do any research on doctors in dc or maryland--i headed straight to nyc-- thanks for keeping me on track dee..take good care....ogretta - In duodenalswitch@y..., " True's " wrote: > Hi Ogretta, > > Yes it was me you spoke to in the chat room.
