Guest guest
I never had any problems with my insurance. They have been great. I my PCP contacted my benefits coordinator for permission to go out of the area and I received permission within 2 days. I have not had one bit of trouble. Not one cent has come out of my pocket. My insurance plan was written for the hospital I work at and if I have surgery there I pay not one cent for anything. Because they do not offer this surgery there I received permission to go somewhere else they are paying this surgery just as if I was doing it at home. I did not have to pay consultation fees, nutritional consult fees, nothing to the hospital. Nothing could have gone smoother. I have BCBSM PPO written for Marquette General Health Systems. What everyone needs to remember, all insurances are not the same. Just because someone has the same insurance does not mean the PLAN is the same. Read your individual plan. If you work at a large corp. go to your benefit coordinator (through you PCP) first. It just smooths the road for you later on.
Guest guest
I'm SO sorry ... I think I had you on my brain since we'd just talked. LOL Yes, you did tell me you hadn't had a problem. It was a friend of mine who isn't on the lists, she had BC/BS of Arizona and they took a while but finally okay'd it. Sorry!!
