Guest guest Posted August 24, 2009 Report Share Posted August 24, 2009 Hi Mara, It might be mealy bug or cottony aphids. To kill the little buggers use isopropyl alcohol (cheap rubbing alcohol). Place the alcohol in a spray bottle and dilute it some with water (maybe 75% alcohol and 25% water). You will probably need to spray your plant every few days until they are gone (if that’s what it is). My beautiful indoor rosemary plant is partially covered by this white fuzzy stuff - it feels a little sticky. Anyone know what this is? A mold, a bug? and the best way to get rid of it?
