You all know I am anal about my foodlog and my protein,vitamins etc. Well My iron has to come up just a little, my calcium was excellent but not my PTH( which I have to research because I don,t understand what that is exactly)was high, andf my Vit. D is low and I am adding another Adeks to make 3. I just want to tell everyone that you must take your vitamins and keep up with your bloodwork. I think it is extremely important to stay healthy. The parathyroid gland is atop the thyroid gland. PTH has a calcium/phosphorous regulation function, if I recall my endocrinology course from 1969 with any fidelity, but I forget the details. If your parathyroid level is high, it tells you that your body isn't absorbing enough calcium from your diet/supplements. In other words.. take more calcium pills, or switch to calcium apatite (the best absorbed kind).
