From there it was a sprial downward, since I got on pain meds and LDN and the darvocet just cancelled each other out. I'm currently on 6-mp and Cimzia, but next year, after this diet kicks in and starts healing me, I want to get back on LDN. I need my fistulas to heal first, which they are finally doing. If I win the mega millions any time soon, I think a million dollars is going to go to LDN research, it's exciting, cheap stuff. And cimzia is $1700 a shot. Wonder which drug is going to have more clinical trials, right? jonathan

Guest guest
Heh.. Mara.. you haven't been to your GI's office in a while huh? To see all the advertisements? I always find it appalling that meds advertised to IBD'ers is like people rock climbing or flamenco dancing.. Cimzia is a biologic.. for RA and CD although I am sure they must give it to UC as well. Kinda like Humira.. http://www.drugs.com/cimzia.html Jodi

Guest guest
Hi , Depending on the printing edition you own of breaking the vicious cycle on page 65 Elaine discusses the importance of elevated B levels for intestinally challenged people. When I showed that page to my family medical doctor he said I need a B-12 injection. Very quickly I felt much better. Later, to avoid the long drive and waiting room doctor time, I found sublingual B. Even later our doctor taught me how to inject myself – that was totally weird but it worked!!!!! Guest guest
, this is a good sign. It's when your gut is reacting to the changes... I call it depression... but fatigue is part of it.
