This really upsets me, too!!! ... unless, of course, she is too sick to do so. Even if getting involved will trigger her emotions that I would imagine she is still battling, I can understand that.

I have a video called "The Medical Mile" in which is speaking throughout the entire documentary along with the host, a dr. from the University of Pa., and the founder of the NSRA.

speaks of getting info out to the public and getting research going, funding, etc. ...

, how did you get to speak to Ms. Duffy? How is she feeling these days? Did she explain why she now no longer wants to help? I have her book, but have only read it half way. It is not so much an educational book on NS, but more on how she was dx'ed, how it affected her life, how she changed, etc.

I have thought of her often, and have been very concerned since I have not seen her on TV in years. When was on Montel, did she discuss her illness and the disease in detail?

Thanks much! and love and prayers to all ... even though I am not on line often (I need to get voice recognition ... when I use the mouse, type, etc., I am awakened at night with numb arms ... I wear a brace when using the computer ... which helps to use it, but triggers my arms into pain, numbing, and sleeping effects for several days ... it's just not worth it to me to continue the process of ruining my arms.

P.S. I haven't seen anything from Kim (Kuwaitee Kim) ... does anyone know how she is doing??? I worry about her every day.

her name is Duffy. and i spoke to her several times.. she played in Dumb and dumber. and she is on Montel and tony danza.

I tried to get her to help promote the illness and she had no interest .. really upset me..

Joan, I'm so glad to hear from you! I was worried on one hand, but on the other was hoping you were feeling better & out running around. I'm sorry that using the computer causes so much problems for you. The voice rec. program would be great.
