Guest guest Posted October 9, 2009 Report Share Posted October 9, 2009 In the nineties they said I had Crohn's. Now after 8 years of remission they say I have UC! I never know what to think. Lower 8 inches of the colon is enflamed and bleeding. . I'm starting the intro diet...again... here we go! Had scary experience post colonoscopy at home-- I suddenly got really bad gas pain on the right side so that I couldn't move and was leaning really far back to try to give it space. Then I felt like I had to go to the bathroom. I sat down on toilet, and watched my gut vibrate as I listened to the loudest growling, then I became very light headed thought I was going to pass out, so I folded myself over head down by knees. Then I started to dry heave and then I just (and I " m sorry for the graphic nature of this post) EXPLODED out my butt, but it was like stuff that should have been out of me long before the colonoscopy. I just wonder if somehow the colon didn't evacuate enough and then the colonoscopy kind of forced it all to go back up into the small intestine or something. Anyone have this happen?
