I apologize if you felt I was attacking you personally...you weren't the only one that made a comment to her regarding cutting out carbs all together (it's a pretty status quo for all bariatric programs), so I didn't think it would sound like I was targeting anyone. (And it was my attempt to keep from beating herself up.) 2) I may have misinterpreted your comment regarding carbs until you wrote about it from a " detox " angle. However, again, since I felt like I was addressing individually, it did not occur to me that anyone would feel chastized by my comments. We all have different ways of staying successful, and don't always have to be in agreement. Like you pointed out, it is hard to convey emotion and inflection over the computer.
