Well, things WERE going well after Kaitlyn's bout with food poisoning (from

steamed crabs) while on vacation in mid-July. We put her back on the intro diet

and she recovered. Well now she has been going downhill again, I think due to

her seasonal allergies. She started with a cough and after a few days of it not

going away, I started her on Claritin. It didn't seem to help. Then I moved

her up to Zyrtec, which also didn't help much, still coughing like mad!! Woke

up last Friday with 100.3 degree fever and took her to pediatrician. Nothing in

lungs and not really congested. Had to go to Virginia Friday p.m. for Saturday

p.m. wedding! Friday 2:30 a.m. she wakes up and has 103.7 fever!! Give

Tylenol, lots of water, cold rag on forehead, and neck. Wakes up 11:00 a.m. --

NO FEVER!!!! What the heck?? Yah, get to go to wedding :-) The rest of the

weekend, no fever! But for the last few weeks, bm's always different sometimes

formed(ish), but mostly not. Now the D is back, 4 trips on Monday. Put her

back on Intro Diet yesterday and started Allegra and down to 2 trips but still

D.

If you made it through all of that (!!!!), what do you think is doing on with

her? Can this all be from her allergies?? Two years ago she got by on

Claritin, last year Zyrtec worked for her and now she's moving to Allegra this

time so far. What's going on? FYI: Before the diagnosis of CD back on 2007 she

would get an " itchy mouth " from apples, cherries, pears & tomatoes, which turns

out to be OAS (oral allergy syndrome) so she does not eat any of these because I

don't know what happens after those foods leave the mouth.

We are so tired of the Intro!
