I was just reiterating the guidelines set forth by Kaiser--the guidelines that have helped me maintain a 153 lb loss for 9 months with no significant weight gain. I know that it is possible, even beneficial to eat carbs and maintain weight. I do eat some carbs myself. I was just trying to be helpful to . Some of us are addicted to carbs and eating them can lead to cravings for more carbs. Perhaps it was not clear that I was suggesting that adhere to the guidelines strictly--as in no carbs--as a sort of detox. I would prefer not to be chastized in this manner. Maybe I'm misinterpreting your comments, but it's hard to glean non-verbal clues from the written word. Kinda makes me not want to participate on line.
